The RapidGuard lift-out guarding system is the perfect solution for any businesses looking to safeguard products or equipment. Each panel lifts out from the sturdy upright posts. This allows for easy and quick access to any equipment being housed within the unit. Lift-Out Guarding System
The RapidGuard lift-out guarding system is perfect for protecting and guarding stretch wrappers, welding machines, and many other forms of automated equipment that require quick access and protection. Unlike other guarding units, RapidGuard panels have the ability to be lifted directly out of the upright posts. This offers users complete access to the units being stored within the guarding system. With this feature, maintenance workers have the ability to access equipment quickly during service calls or downtime while still ensuring that the equipment is kept safe and secure. There aren’t many other guarding systems that make access so much easier and quicker.
Unlike switch mats or light curtains that can malfunction due to electrical issues, this guarding system is always alert and secure. This is a perfect system for machines that require a 360-degree range of access. RapidGaurd offers a complete line of sliding and hinged doors that can be easily integrated into the layout of any facility. It’s simple to plan for this system and just as easy to install.
RapidGuard Posts and Panels
The panels used within this system are constructed with welded wire with a thickness of 10-gauge. These wires are patterned through a rectangular mesh that measures 1.25″ x 2.5″. This mesh is welded into a 13-gauge formed angle that measures 1.25″ x 1.25″ in dimension. Mounting brackets are dropped into place and welded to each guarding panel. These brackets slip easily into each upright post for easy installation. Sturdy tube posts made from 14-gauge steel are used to reinforce the guarding system for extra sturdiness.
Safety and Security Come First
Every RapidGuard panel is specifically designed to be used with a removable bolt that can be fasted to the inside of each panel system. When this bolt is in place, nobody is able to lift the guarding panels out of place when the robot or machine is operating. An interlock or safety switch can come with the RapidGuard door. When this interlock or safety switch is disengaged, the robot or machine will shut off entirely. Once the robot or machine has stopped completely, it’s safe to approach the guarding system. You can approach any panel, take out the bolt, walk towards the perimeter of the guarding system, and remove the panel from the upright posts to access the robot or machine.
This guarding system can be installed 50% quicker than other conventional barrier systems. This guarding system is also compliant with ANSI/RIA and OSHA safety requirements for safety guarding and machine perimeter.
Standard Options and Features Are Available
The standard features offered by other WireCrafters systems are available for use and compatible with this lift-out system. Sliding and hinged doors are specifically available for such applications. Each door is self-latching and can come with an interlock of the customer’s choosing. There are standard heights of 8′ and 6′ available. The panels are built standard with a black powder finish. Posts are finalized with a standard yellow coat finish.

Standard 1 1/4″ x 2 1/2″ 10-gauge welded wire. Alternate meshes available depending on your guarding requirements.
Frames
1 1/4″ x 1 1/4″ x 13-gauge angle frame.
