New Opening - Installer

Who we are: Helping companies find storage solutions since 1992. Conveyor & Storage Solutions is a specialty contractor for material handling storage systems, and specializes in designing, warehouse space planning, custom engineering, project managing, installation, and submitting building permits. Our niche is designing and building multi-level catwalk systems, from both rack and shelving components.

Job Title: Installer – Skilled labor, with experience in Costruction and/or the intallation of material handling equipment and use of necessary tools. Conveyor and Storage Solutions provides installation services both in state and nation wide. You will be required to work in different cities and states for up to two weeks at a time in some cases. Flexibilty to travel is mandatory. Reliable transportation is required, as we travel throughout Southern California cities frequently. It is imparaitive to be on time.

Job Objectives: Assist in the installation of material handling equipment, pallet racking, industrial shelving, storage mezzanine, gravity conveyor, etc. Good commuinication with both Supervisors and Customers is a necessity. The typical work eviorment is loud and consistant commuinication in completing each task is needed. Ability to follow directions and impliment company procedures at all times is required.

Experential Requirments: Perferred canidate will have some prior experience with both installation and neccesary tools/equipment such as forklifts, scissorlift, hand tools, rotary hammer, sawzall, cordless impact, drill and use of proper P.P.E. Safety is a Priority and you must perform safe work practices at all times. Canidate will be trained by their supervisor on correct and safe work practices per Conveyor & Storage Solutions Policy. All Conveyor and Storage Solutions’ Installers have received  10 or 30 hour OSHA compliance training.

Physical and Personal Requirments:You will be required to perform heavy lifting, working both indoors/ outdoors, hot and cold enviorments, excessive knealing and working at heights in up wards of 50ft.  Since you will have direct interaction with co-workers and customers a presentable apperance, positve attitude and clear communications skills are essential to success.

$14.00 -$16.00 Hourly depending on Experience

We maintain an innovative and fun culture at C&SS and we are looking to make an addition to our corporate office family. This new role is twofold – We are looking for some to recreate copy for our new website and maintain our Social Media presence.

Let’s first cover the Social Media Responsibilities:

  • Write, edit and publish engaging posts for various social networks, including Facebook, Twitter and Instagram
  • Recreate content using bland boring copy and giving it your innovative perspective***
  • Optimize social media posts (language, tone, message) based on our target audience’s behaviors
  • Select appealing images and videos to complement text
  • Update our social media pages with compelling company news from internal sources to partners and customers
  • Coordinate with internal teams to create advertising posts (e.g. for events, catalogs, and product releases)
  • Track and report on social media insights (traffic, engagement, shares, conversion rates)
  • Apply advertising techniques to boost brand awareness, like promotions and competitions
  • Respond to questions and comments on our social media pages in a timely and accurate manner
  • Network with clients and industry professionals

Requirements

  • Must be able to work in the United States – No Visa Sponsorships
  • Please be local to San Diego
  • Proven experience with Social Media or similar role (This includes your personal experience)
  • Hands-on experience using various social media platforms to advertise
  • Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Flickr and YouTube
  • Solid knowledge of SEO, keyword research and analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics)
  • Familiarity with online paid advertising
  • Ability to deliver creative web content (text, image and video)
  • Experience in or be a Quick study in PHP, HTML, CSS, WordPress.
  • Excellent communication skills

Internal Job Title: Account Manager

Job Responsibilities:

This business-to-business sales position is responsible for the sale of material handling equipment.

  • Pursue new business and develop key existing accounts in an assigned territory.  Analyze opportunities, identify key personnel, and develop strong business relationships via cold calls, presentations, and following up on leads for new business.
  • Develop sales strategies, proposals, and forecasts.  Develop and conduct product demonstrations and sales presentations.  Prepare quotations, cost reports, performance reports and customer correspondence.
  • Develop a territory management plan to maximize time with customers in order to seek new business and enhance customer retention by monitoring customer satisfaction with service and parts support and by responding to customer concerns or requests.
  • Utilize online resources to maintain accurate records of sales calls, customer files, and sales activity information.  Discuss sales activities with management.

Qualifications:

We are seeking the seasoned sales professional in the Material Handling world.

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in business management, marketing, entrepreneurship, professional selling, or related business program, or several years of successful sales experience.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational skill set.
  • Computer skills – MS Windows and CRM experience.
  • Valid driver’s license, good driving record, and the ability to safely operate lift trucks.

Job Responsibilities:

This is an entry level position for a quick ramp up to business-to-business sales position: Account Manager. The typical ramp up period last between 6-12 Months.

  • Identify business opportunities through resources such as newspapers, Dunn and Bradstreet and internet sources. Network with commercial real estate companies and Chambers of Commerce
  • Generate sales leads through literature drops, mail, e-mail and campaigns
  • Increase market awareness through cold-calling
  • Create and manage prospective customer database
  • Digitize all contacts through CRM for mail merge campaigns
