Description

Lumber Racks

Lumber Racks is a reliable and flexible storage for warehousing, distribution, manufacturing and retail storage network. It is the ultimate solution for lengthy, large and extremely difficult to store items such as carpet rolls, furniture, tubing, ducting, piping, etc. The main components include uprights that are strongly connected to the base channels. There are no aisle uprights to limit the use of horizontal space. Also, there is no visible aisle uprights to restrict the use of horizontal space. A wide range of load capabilities are available for both regular and seismic applications, as well as many accessories to create a fully configured, safe and efficient storage system.

What Are Roll Formed Cantilever Racks?

Roll Formed Cantilever Racks are long-armed steel shelving devices projecting from metal frames used to store long, bulky or uncomfortable items. These are used for storing items like furniture, lumber, PVC, metal pipes, steel bar stock, plywood, sheetrock, steel sheets, and even automobiles. Cantilever racks can be designed in a variety of ways, providing a versatile solution to suit any storage needs.

What are Lumber Rack Uprights?

Lumber Rack uprights are the vertical backbone columns of the cantilever rack. Cantilever bases and arms attach to the uprights to complete the cantilever rack system. Uprights are available in single or double sided configurations. Single sided cantilever racks allow material to be stored on the front side only. With double sided uprights, material can be stored on both the front and back sides of the rack.

What are Lumber Rack Arms?

Lumber Rack arms extend out from the uprights to create the levels that are used for storage, similar to pallet rack beams. Typically, the arms are upright adjustable to create shelf levels of whatever height is required. Arms can be straight or inclined to hold goods that may roll off. Some arms even come with a “lip” that attaches to the end of the arm to prevent loads from slipping off the front of the rack.

If you would like another well-rounded storage solution, combine your lumber racks with other storage systems such as pallet racks, light-duty pick-up shelves, and Interlake MECALUX® Structural Cantilever.
